Trek? Bmx aluminum
I've spent hours going through post after post hoping to get a diffinative answer on this frame. I'm pretty sure it's a trek based on the logo but it seems that Torker has a similar logo as well. I've checked as many of the serial number decoder post I could find and none help me out with mine. Please any help would be appreciated. I had the frame given to me after months of seeing it sit in a friend's yard. I ask if he was ever gonna build it and he told me to take it. https://photos.app.goo.gl/6WkTkvuWQuDQDUQa9

He could do some powder coating of parts in the toaster oven.

Re: Trek? Bmx aluminum
Those fat weld beads on a nice alloy frame make me drool. Functional art. I've owned and cracked two aluminum frames over the years (one back in the '90s before I was fat even...), so I stick to chromoly, but well done alu frames are truly beautiful to look at.

Re: Trek? Bmx aluminum
Got the frame stripped down to bare and threw on my premium forks and stem that says 40 years on it. Looking real good I think. Was wanting to do a nice good but cheap 3 piece crankset on it. Any suggestions? Nothing too heavy and I don't got much cash so they can't break the bank. Lol

Check the For Sale section here at the Museum. You can often find something used here that's better quality and the same price or cheaper than some of the more affordable new stuff.
