If you're planning to drive to the world-renowned Glastonbury Festival this week, you might be mapping out your journey to the 'world's greatest music festival'. From selecting the perfect road trip playlist, to identifying petrol stations for refuelling, and pinpointing spots to grab a bite or pick up last-minute essentials, there's plenty to consider.

And that's before even deciding on your camping spot or which acts to catch once you arrive.

One of the most favoured routes from Bristol to Worthy Farm is via the A37. This route boasts a few farm shops, petrol stations and other convenient stop-offs. Here are some of these places you might find handy....

Farrington's Farm Shop & Cafe

Situated on Main Street in Farrington Gurney, this farm shop and cafe is open from 9am-5pm (until 4pm on Sundays) with food served in the cafe daily between 9am-11.30am and 12-3.30pm (3pm on Sundays). As well as a farm shop, there's also a deli, butcher and shopping village, which is full of independent shops and salons and sits nestled between the cafe, indoor soft play and farm shop.

The Soap Bar Cafe

The Soap Bar Cafe is located on Upper Bristol Road, Clutton and is open 9am-4pm (closed on Sundays) - booking is recommended if you want to sit inside. It offers light lunches including paninis, tarts and frittatas, along with homemade cakes made fresh every day. You can even get a cream tea (though you need to book 48 hours in advance).

In addition to teas, coffees and various soft drinks, The Soap Bar Cafe also serves up beer, cider, wine and bubbles, too. There's even a boutique gift gift shop and even a 24/7 self-service laundrette in the car park.

The Cheeky Bean

Taking a little detour into town, the Cheeky Bean is located at 12 Marketplace in Shepton Mallet and is open between 9am-4pm most days. Its menu boasts brunch and lunch options, as well as daily specials including frittatas, soups, dahl, toasties and salads. Plus, there's a selection of freshly baked homemade cakes, as well as hot drinks, and more.

Thorner's Farm Shop

Based in Pylle in Somerset, The Thorner's Farm Shop stocks a range of products from Thorner's and local suppliers. These include a butchers counter, fresh seafood, savoury freshly baked snacks, homeware, clothing, and lifestyle products.

Next door, you'll find The Den which is a place you can sit for food. Traditional breakfasts are served up here, as well as lunch, and even just coffee and homemade cake. Thorner's is open 8am-5pm (9am-3pm on Sundays).
