We love the spontaneous feeling that comes across in this photo series by Tel Aviv and Lisbon based photographer Mike Ivnitsky, the natural, genuine effect, and the model Juliana, who isn’t afraid to engage in a shoot where the photo is more about the spontaneous moment than the perfect pose.

Our last travel show took place in the magnificent capital of Spain. It was a four-day immersion into the passionate culture of Madrid, featuring flamenco, corrida, and Rioja, fixed on film by the talented Ukrainian photographer, Vitalik Melnikov. Guests marveled at the masterpieces in the Prado Museum and were energized by the flamenco performances, returning home with captivating stories of toreadors, new powerful connections, and inspiration from the sophisticated city.

What truly brings you joy? Remember, happiness is not a constant state; it ebbs and flows. Yet, embracing life’s small pleasures can bring tranquility to your heart, and it’s that calmness that gets you through the tumults of life unscathed. This captivating series by German photographer Markus Wachter captures the essence of fleeting happiness.

“The sound of the ocean, the smell of suncream, naps in the shade, being covered in sand while going for dinner and the beached summer skin feeling. Anywhere there is the sun, sand and sea I feel instantly at home, calm and connected. It’s my happy place.” This is how photographer Jase Patrick describes his motivation for this beautiful photo series in a bay on the beach in Portugal.

“You know those (rare) times you unexpectedly meet someone, instantly vibe and a conversation can go from level 1 to 10 instantly? Well, that’s how it was when I met Grace.” It had been a lovely but busy year for me and I was ready to go back “home” – which for me is NYC. (Using quotations, as I’ve traveled/moved so much growing up, to me, “home” is where you feel most rooted and your soul finds peace) After flying back, settling in, and an hour or so of shut-eye, I ran over to Lomography to stock up on my favorite films and find some new ones.

“A series of photos captures a young, beautiful girl spending a leisurely day at home, enveloped in the nostalgic atmosphere of “Strawberry Fields Forever.” She indulges in dreams and reflections. The frames reveal her moments of carefree bliss, like savoring fresh strawberries, adding a touch of sweet melancholy to the scenes.”

“Alexis Santiago and myself love the styles, architecture and automobiles from the 60’s and 70’s so in this little personal project we wanted to create something using some current styles that really had that vintage feel,” photographer Ben Everden tells us, who, along with the beautiful model Alexis and her sweet dog, Buddy Santiago, takes us on a little journey through time. “The location is actually a club in Miami called Zey Zey and they have some fantastic little areas that we used and that tree in the middle of the place is just amazing!”

“Being vulnerable on stage, and allowing one’s true self to shine through the steps… is what makes a highly esteemed dancer,” says Daniela Thorne of the Berlin Staatsballett. In our interview, Daniela opens up about her journey, inspirations, and the mentors who shaped her career. You can feel her passion in her words and movements, showcasing the deep dedication of this Brazilian-American artist to her craft.

“The paradox is that while adhering to the norm may attract clients, so can standing out by doing something unique. There is no definitive right or wrong approach.” Verena Vötter, a passionate fashion photographer, has recently shot a new series featuring the stunning Fatima, represented by PARS Models. This time, she adopted a theme close to her heart: sustainable fashion.

“No matter how early you rise, the sun won’t rise any earlier,” I read somewhere. The desire to control everything, to resolve issues as quickly as possible, and to carry an impatience of the heart often leads to many problems. Allowing things their own time, not rushing, and meditating on this can bring a sense of peace and clarity. Sometimes, taking your time can reveal solutions that would otherwise remain hidden.

“No big team, just a young woman enjoying life on a magical island that hopefully reminds the viewer to enjoy life under the sun,” is how photographer Jelle Stokhof sums up the feeling he and model Esme wanted to create. He also talks about how they originally met and why Bali was the perfect location for this shoot.
