DEC Statewide Offices: Contact Information By Location (2024)

DEC's headquarters is housed at our Central Office in Albany. The state is also divided into nine regions, each with its own headquarters and many with additional sub-offices.

Your first point of contact for questions, or to obtain or renew a DEC permit, to report environmental or natural resource problems, or to find the best places to hunt, fish and enjoy the outdoors, is normally your regional office.

Click the region link on the left to be taken to the directory that serves your selection. If you are not sure which region to choose, view our more detailed regional map.
